So I got a comment on my last tutorial about how there’s no tutorials for heavier built men.
Obviously I never draw heavy people, so my own version is less appealing than when I actually used a reference picture.
Again, quick and easy tutorial with some hints scribbled over.
The triangle technique definitely still works, so don’t be afraid of using it on any body type.As it says in the picture, people who are heavier are…well ‘heavier’ and their weight is dragged down, rather than all just floating in the center of the stomach.
Like on the arms, his muscles are weighed down more, rather than UP like on a fit, muscular man. Also the men’s breasts are heavier, while of course they don’t have to look like female breasts, they still need to look weighed and round.
I can’t say much on this sadly :/ like I said I don’t typically draw larger body types, but I hope this helped anyways! :)

And low and behold, there it is!Freakin’ awesome! I gotta try this with my primary OC.
Thank you by the way!

Thank you so much. There needs to be more heavier representation in anatomy tutorials.

While I was walking around the Forever 21 in Time Square, I heard this remix of Sleepyhead by Passion Pit and I Want You Back by Jackson 5. I automatically took a mental note to search it up once I get back in LA.

The pure fact that this doesn’t even need a title or a description or anything speaks volumes. I mean look at the number of notes this has. There are so few people who don’t recognize it. And the song itself just gives you chills. It’s so magical.
